Aims and Scope
The mission of the Economy of Contemporary Society (ECS) journal is to disseminate original theoretical and empirical research on broad economic and social issues relevant for scholars, practitioners, and policy-makers. Contributions from economics, business, finance, and management are particularly welcomed. However, the ECS journal also encourages submissions on timely, interdisciplinary current and emerging issues from related fields.
While the journal will primarily address topics related to Romania, it will also feature themes of widespread concern for Republic of Moldova and other Eastern European countries.
The journal has a single volume per year, but it will also publish special issues focusing on topics such as rural economy, rural tourism, and regional development.
